Smart Factory

Smart Factory enables intelligent automation of your factory.
From factory floor to the cloud and beyond.

Boost manufacturing performance

Our Smart Factory solutions

Our goal is to help you find a steady balance between manufacturing productivity and efficiency. We believe that production efficiency lies on three key pillars:

/ people, technology and processes

Improve your competitiveness by finding an equilibrium between productivity and efficiency, where you are able to optimise the resources needed for production, lower the production costs, and increase predictability.

Product quality assurance

Ensure quality products by automating your quality assurance process. Capture the reality, gain insights, control processes and find root causes of quality defects with rich sensor data, machine vision and machine learning.

Production optimisation

Gather and link data from production lines to reveal bottlenecks in the production process, enhance capacity management, and improve the predictability of your production.

Preventive maintenance

Enable condition-based maintenance to fix and replace equipment with minimal loss of productivity. IoT sensors and AI-based predictive analytics can identify when components are about to fail.

How to fix quality issues with AI in a Smart Factory?

High quality with automation

To this date, most of manufacturers' quality control is manual which is time-consuming, costly and unreliable. As it’s based on subjective interpretation, it can result in discrepancies in the assessment.

/ Capture, get insights and control

Our cutting-edge Smart Factory solution to automated product quality assurance leverages a variety of sensors to capture real-world data. For instance, cameras, 3D, hyperspectral, microwave, and ultrasound.

Emerging technologies, like machine vision, sensor fusion, and machine learning, produce real-time insights based on the rich sensor data.

Manufacturers can ensure high-quality product flow even for complex products by finding quality defects, automated processes, user guidance, and input for operational systems.

How is production optimised in a Smart Factory?

Living digital twins opens new possibilities
Industrial digital twins have so far been used mostly for simulation purposes. By including not only fixed assets, but also data directly from the production lines we unlock a ton of new opportunities.

/ Living digital twins enable optimised production

The so called living digital twins uses data directly from the production lines to analyse and gain insights into the movements of the products or components.

Manufacturers are able to utilise the insights to enhance capacity management, reveal bottlenecks in the production and detect, identify, and trace materials.

What does preventive maintenance mean
in a Smart Factory?

Minimise downtime, loss of productivity and revenue

Compared to traditional inefficient calendar-based maintenance, preventive maintenance functions on condition basis, meaning that equipment is fixed and replaced with minimal loss of productivity.

/ Move from calendar-based maintenance to condition-based

Preventive maintenance requires the use of IoT sensors, production data and AI-based predictive analytics to identify when equipment is about to fail.

The data gathered from OT devices and MES systems are harmonised and visualised. Predictions and suggested maintenance plans help manufacturers to move to condition-based maintenance. Now, equipment is fixed or replaced with minimal downtime and loss of revenue.
