Meet Advian at this autumn’s Käyttöpäivä for power distribution networks once again brings timely insights and lively discussion for professionals working in grid operations and maintenance.
Grid operations and maintenance are at the center of a major transition. Energy consumption is changing, distributed generation is growing, and asset management teams are facing increasing pressure at a time when resources remain limited. Adato’s annual Käyttöpäivä is exactly the kind of forum where industry professionals come together to address these challenges.
This year, Advian will be attending with our Gridlytics product suite. If you are responsible for grid operations, maintenance prioritization, or network investment planning, we have practical solutions worth discussing.
Gridlytics is Advian’s product suite designed to bring advanced analytics and predictive intelligence into operational grid management and long-term planning. We do not offer data for its own sake. We offer three complementary solutions that turn measurement data into clear operational action.
Gridlytics® Pulse – Real-time visibility into the low-voltage grid
Pulse is an intelligent measurement device installed in substations that provides real-time visibility into the low-voltage grid. It is also suitable as a retrofit solution for older substations and can be installed safely without interrupting operations.
Gridlytics® Pulse Insights – Early insight before customers notice anything
Pulse Insights adds an analytics layer on top of transformer and substation data. It detects changes in load and power quality, calculates a stress index for substations, and forecasts short-term electricity consumption. The result is a prioritized list of locations, typically the top 20 to 40 sites, where network operators should act first to prevent faults before they occur.
Gridlytics® Sight – Scenario planning for the long-term future of the grid
Sight is a next-generation tool for managing the lifecycle of grid assets and supporting CAPEX planning. It helps answer questions that traditional systems often cannot: where should the network be reinforced over the next 2 to 10 years, how should investments be timed, and how should uncertainty be accounted for across different scenarios. Sight makes broad use of open data sources and operates independently, while results can also be integrated directly into existing NIS systems.
Why experience alone is no longer enough:
Electrification is moving fast. Electric vehicles, heat pumps, and small-scale generation are changing load profiles in ways that make older planning assumptions outdated. Prioritizing grid maintenance based only on experience or legacy practices is both risky and expensive.
The Gridlytics product suite was built to solve exactly this challenge: bringing real-world data and phenomenon-based analytics into decision-making for both day-to-day operations and long-term investments.
Come and challenge us at Käyttöpäivä. You can find the Advian team at the Käyttöpäivä event on October 1, 2026, at Crowne Plaza, Mannerheimintie 50, Helsinki.
Whether your focus is transformer monitoring, improving maintenance efficiency, or planning grid capacity, we offer practical solutions backed by proven results.
See you at the event.
